This position requires an experienced professional with a solid background in state of the art systems engineering processes, development and validation. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. Role The successful candidate is a fearless leader of large cross functional teams with the ability to structure complex programs, drive execution on schedule, and responsible for clear communication of status and issues at all levels. Lead, manage, and grow the team responsible for Systems Engineering of complex EV systems Connect vehicle level features and requirements to the subsystem domains to create innovative solutions and user experiences Own the process of documenting and cascading of vehicle level requirements based on input from design, product planning, and homologation Defines and documents detailed functional requirements through decomposition of the high-level vehicle requirements Drive Lucid's strategy for systems engineering across the organization including process and tool chain Partners with cross-functional teams and subsystem domain owners on the technical implementation of the system architecture across the development life cycle, including requirements generation, system and software design, implementation, integration and test. Qualifications 10+ years of industry experience, automotive preferred 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering of complex mechatronics systems Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive initiatives across the engineering organization Excellent analytical skills, experience working on complex multi-system products Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization Experience with ISO26262 as well as the automotive development process Education Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical engineering, or related field), master's degree preferred At Lucid, we don't just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
