Your Role: As the Sr Manager, Power Electronics, you'll be working with some of the industry's brightest minds to design and develop the advanced power electronics components for FF 91 and future vehicle platforms. Responsible for but not limited to: Responsible for in-house inverter design and development, from lab concept up to mass production Responsible for all engineering activities for out-sourced power electronics commodities, such as DCDCs, OBC, etc Responsible for power electronics commodities DFMEAs, DVPs signoffs Lead power electronics group, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering as well as testing engineering to ensure the in-house inverter development is on track delivery Coordinate with propulsion system engineering to define the requirements for all the power electronics commodities Responsible for collaboration with suppliers for all the subcomponents of in-house development as well as tier 1 supplier for outsourced commodities Support MFG team for in-house inverter manufacturing and support the vehicle build Define the future power electronics commodities architecture and plan Responsible for the growth of power electronics and power conversation group, including talent acquisition as well as develop retention plans Basic Qualifications: BS in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or related areas 8 years of experience in product development Proven knowledge + expertise, and passion for EV start-ups Electrified powertrain and OEM engineering management experience is required Strong familiarity with high voltage components development, especially power electronics in automotive OEM Preferred Qualifications: Proven expertise with successfully launch power electronics commodities development and EV program launch A diverse skillset including combined mechanical design and electrical design Knowledge in software development is a bonus Knowledge in bring concept design to final production is preferred Perks + Benefits Stock options for every employee Healthcare + dental + vision benefits (Free for you/discounted for family) 401(k) options Relocation assistance + reimbursement Casual dress code + relaxed work environment Culturally diverse, progressive atmosphere "Soul of Faraday" community outreach team Faraday Future is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
