Job Description Summary LM Wind Power Service as the Blade Service Unit within LM Wind Power is looking for a Senior Service Manager to assume responsibility for our service businesses in North and South America. The primary tasks for this position are to ensure a safe, efficient and profitable blade service business for both our service hubs in North America and Brazil. Our purpose is to execute LM s blade warranty obligations with our customers, while also driving our external sales growth for blade services in both regions. The Senior Manager Service Americas will lead an operational team in North America (based in Grand Folks, ND) and in Brazil (Suape). Whereas the service teams are located in Grand Folks and Suape, the position holder can work remotely out of North America or Brazil, but it does require a certain amount of time at each service hub. The position will report to the Senior Director for Service Sales and Operations, based in Europe, but there is a high degree of autonomy within the role. Essential Responsibilities: Ensure a safe operation of both our service organizations in NA and BR with always putting safety as your top priority Drive an efficient and profitable blade service business in both regions delivering the best results beyond the defined KPI s Develop a culture of continuous improvement Manage and lead the operational teams in both regions by providing guidance and a high level of communication Drive a culture of personal and career development creating a self-motivation for all team members Lead the team to find creative solutions to address complex issues with the ability to evaluate quality of information received. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to arrive at a decision. Execute LM s blade warranty obligations in a timely and efficient manner Drive our external growth by increasing sales revenue in both regions Secure a high customer satisfaction for Service and secure long term service contracts Develop and maintain relations to our key OEM customers Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve our processes or services. Utilizes understanding of the industry trends to inform decision making process Be responsible for executing LM s service and pricing strategy for both regions according to LM guidelines Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 5 years of previous experience Desired Characteristics: Many years of experience in the wind sector, preferably in the service market Track record of leading a profitable organization Puts safety always first and cares for his team members Displays a personal drive with a "can-do attitude" Has an analytical approach to structured problem-solving Feels comfortable in a very dynamic environment Has strong ability to understand the big picture without losing sight of the details Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems Is good at creating and maintaining good relationships to key stakeholders in the organization Has in-depth knowledge of the blade service market Strong sense of business and a winning sales attitude Speaks fluent English and preferably also Portuguese Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Additional Information GE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
