An agile global aerospace and defense technology innovator is seeking numerous Systems Engineers to sit in Cincinnati, OH. This company supports large-scale Department of Defense contracts specific to space and aircraft sensors with the manufacturing of complex systems. The client does about $18 billion in annual revenue and has around 47,000 employees, with customers in more than 100 countries. This specific division, headquartered in Mason, Ohio, designs, develops, and manufactures complex systems (electronic, avionics, transceivers, transmitters, electro-optical, and electro-mechanical) for the defense, aerospace, and commercial markets. This client is a lead in Electro-Optical technologies that enable systems to support surveillance, reconnaissance, threat detection, and self-protection missions. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the review, analysis, and understanding of program level objectives, system concept of operation, product architectures and interfaces, and subsystem equipment, functions, interfaces, and operations. The subsystems that this person will work with include, multi-mode multi-sensors, space launch vehicle avionics equipment, GPS, FPGA circuits, etc. across all interfaces (mechanical, electrical and software) in which test plans/procedures and associated test readiness reviews will then be executed by the Test Engineers. This individual should have prior program experience with system development such as design, performance metrics, system requirements, and system integration. The successful individual will bring their passion for innovation and be able to adapt, communicate, and apply their understanding of systems development to the application at hand.
Must haves:
Master's Degree in EE, CE or Aero

Must haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace engineering is "okay" but the candidate must have solid electronics exp)
- Minimum of 3-10+ years of System Engineering Experience
- Electronic Design Experience - FPGA, Circuits, Analog, Electronics, Semiconductors, etc.
- Scripting experience - Python, VHDL, OR C++
- Experience gathering requirements and designing based on those requirements
- High-level understanding of system architecture, design, and test plans
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
