A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPRINKLER FITTER INSTALL TECHNICIAN
As a Sprinkler Fitter Install Technician, you help fulfill the fire code requirements for commercial buildings by installing fire sprinkler systems. You run careful quality checks on newly installed or retrofitted systems. You install all materials associated with sprinkler systems according to fire code as well as, troubleshoot and repair ongoing issues. You take pride in doing quality work and are diligent about keeping paperwork and reports up to date. You get great satisfaction out of using your specialized skills to help make commercial buildings in your community safer!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SPRINKLER FITTER INSTALL TECHNICIAN
3+ years of sprinkler install experience
Extensive knowledge in the construction and operation of various sprinkler systems
Ability to install fire sprinkler systems, identify major issues, and complete necessary programming in a safe and timely manner
Thorough working knowledge of NFPA 13 & 25, electrical codes, OSHA requirements, general work safety procedures, and other applicable regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications
Customer service skills
Knowledge of fire safety
