What you'll get to do:
The Software System Engineer (SWSE) is embedded in the SW Development team and develops the SW design using SW architecture models (Cameo MBSE toolset). The SWSE is a stakeholder in the Agile SW Development process and participates in daily Scrums. The SWSE is also responsible for ensuring the software is designed according to SW requirements (in DOORS) and the requirements are linked to the architecture model. The SWSE is also responsible for development of SW verification plans for SWCI qualification. The SWSE participates in DevOps between the SW development team and Operations team to develop use cases and test plans for end-to-end system tests.
Basic Qualifications:
Salary Range 2: $101,400 USD - $152,200 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- At least 2 Years with Bachelors in Science (STEM); 0 Years with Masters/PhD
- Top Secret clearance required with active investigation within the last 5 years
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Special Program Access per business requirements
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Experience managing requirements and verification plans in IBM Rational DOORS
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for agile project management
- Experience working on space systems development programs
- Experience with Cameo tools for architecture modeling
- Experience working with software development teams
