Description:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop software in Java for a large complex custom Naval System. This team member will work alongside fellow crew members in a lab environment developing and implementing new software. Key Responsibilities • Collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy • Implementation of new features, improvements to existing functionality, technology insertion, integration and testing • Work cooperatively within an Agile team, participate in sprints and should be adaptable to a wide variety of technologies and tasks Required Skills: • Basic knowledge of Java, C++ and XML or similar programming languages • Develop automated unit tests to ensure high-quality, defect-free code • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related Engineering field
