Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is searching for a Software Engineer (Level 2 or 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will support our Clearfield, Utah location.
This position will support ourB-shift on weekday nights, and work 4-10s.
Job Description:
As a Software Engineer, you will use CAD / CAM tools to generate or edit Machine Programs to support automated machining centers. Our team enjoys a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaboration across all levels. We work independently but interact constantly with other engineering groups and manufacturing to achieve expectations. We're empowered to make decisions, but can draw upon corporate resources to support us when needed. Each member of the team is tasked with identifying ways to improve efficiency in the team in the pursuit of continuous improvement. We're looking for a fellow self-starter who enjoys assessing and understanding risk to join us.
This position may be filled at a Level 2 or Level 3 based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications
Software Engineer (Level 2)

Salary Range: $71,100 USD - $106,700 USD
Salary Range 2: $87,600 USD - $131,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Bachelor of Science and 2 years of related experience; or 6 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and the ability to obtain special program access
- Working knowledge of NX CAM 5-Axis Milling
- Fanuc 31i experience
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing machine problems and instigate corrective actions and follow-up on equipment i.e. CNC mills/lathes
- Prepare solid model or complex geometry
- Perform blue print reading
- Troubleshooting manufacturing processes
- Windows and MS office skills required
- Bachelor of Science and 5 years of related experience; or 6 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree
