Position Overview
Administers sleep studies to patients in accordance with department policies and procedures, providing input to the clinical evaluation and technical aspects of administered care.
Education/Knowledge Requirements
Prerequisites:
Basic Life Support (Course C)
Must obtain BRPT credential within two (2) years after completing core competencies
Knowledge of sleep disorders
Essential Job-Related Experience:
One (1) year clinical health care experience
Ability to maintain/update the computer competencies as required for the position
Preferred Job-Related Experience:
One (1) year of work experience utilizing all aspects of polysomnography
Experience in use and/or development of sleep protocols
