Job Description

Work in the Silicon Validation and Power Engineering Group:

• Silicon bring-up, functional validation, power test, automation development, Total Dynamic Power (TDP) measurements
• Machine Language SoC assigned features and/or interfaces bring-up, development of post silicon validation content and automation
• Machine Language SoC TDP data collecting across different corner parts to estimate TDP accurately.
• silicon debug support for
• Working closely with the Hardware and Boards teams.

Required Background:

• BS/MS in EE (or similar) with 4+ years of experience in silicon bring-up, automation and validation preferably SoC or CPU silicon
• Experience with lab set-up, bring-up and silicon validation methodology
• Expertise and protocol knowledge of bring-up and validation of any one of the interface: DDR or PCIe or Ethernet (1G/10G)
• Knowledge of Phy bringup, initialization and debug is a plus
• Proficiency in C programming, Bare Metal development, Perl/Python scripting
• Skill set for silicon debug, using lab equipment and working with boards as needed
• Good programming, debug and problem solving skill
