Job Summary:
As an Service Technician Automotive, you will utilize your expertise and customer service skills to perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned and in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
Requirements: Job Responsibilities:
Service Technician Automotive will diagnose and troubleshoot issues that arise in customer vehicles
Repair and replace parts as needed to maintain vehicles
Replace and install parts or order new parts as needed
Service Technician Automotive works with Service Advisors to help customer understand issues and needs
Perform preventative maintenance as needed per vehicle specifics
Perform warranty work on factory covered vehicles
The ideal candidate must have the following:
Service Technician Automotive Experience
Computer literate and ability to work on vehicle computer systems
Must be able to read and interpret diagrams
Must be team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
Available to work Saturdays
Must have own tools
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma
Automotive Service Technician Experience
Valid U.S. Driver's License with a Good Driving Record
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand 8 hours a day
Must be able to tolerate working in hot and cold weather
Must be able to kneel, bend, twist
Must be able to lift up to 50 without assistance
