Job Description for Customer Service Advisor - Fleet Services

Currently seeking a Service Advisor to play a pivotal role in the resolution of service requests that come through our Operations Department. The Customer Service Specialist will be partnering with customers, vendors and our sales team to ensure the highest level of service on which CTL has built its reputation as a leader in the industry for over 50 years. Full-time, permanent career opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic, outstanding punctuality, and a great teamwork attitude.

Responsibilities for Service Advisor

Resolve customer inquiries and requests coming to Operations Department including maintenance, repairs, registrations, license plates, and dispatch for road-side assistance
Use company resources and technologies to properly log, research and complete repairs
Create work orders, obtain approvals, notify vendors and customers
Work with vendors to obtain and handle estimates
Follow up with vendors for information and customers with status updates
Ensure accuracy of data and service information for invoicing
Follow standard operating procedure to meet quality standards within Operations Department

Requirements:

Requirements for Service Advisor

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
Experience in the Customer Service Industry, preferably the transportation industry
General automotive understanding that may include trailer lift gates and refrigeration units
Excellent communication and writing skills with attention to grammar
Effective organizational, planning and prioritization skills
Excellent skills with programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and general related PC abilities
Excellent telephone etiquette
Aptitude for learning and high productivity in a fast-paced environment
Professional attitude and team player
Organized and self-motivated individual
