Job Overview
If you are a natural people-pleaser and a good listener who also happens to love the great outdoors, then we have the perfect job for you. We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our fast-paced environment at Johnson RV. It's more than a Service Advisor, we need an outstanding communicator with a natural positive attitude. A person that has a strong work ethic and values taking ownership of their position. The successful person will feel comfortable and confident in greeting customers as they are scheduling appointments and acting as a liaison between customers and service technicians. This position will handle a volume of work flow and must be vigilant in their organization.
Responsibilities
Attitude is everything - greet service department customers promptly and courteously
Listen to each customer and clearly articulate needs to technician
Provide accurate estimates of repairs / maintenance costs
Follow up on repair status to efficiently inform customers
Work with manufacturer and file claims in timely manner
Notify customers when RV / trailer is ready for pick up
Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers
Handle minor customer concerns and complaints
Keep Service Manager informed of all problems or potential problems
Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in accordance with dealership standards
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalency degree is required
Experience in a service-related position is preferred
Basic RV knowledge a plus
Successful candidates will have excellent follow-through skills and a keen eye for details.
An obsessive commitment to exceeding customer expectations
A desire to work collaborate, team environment
High levels of energy and the desire to be the best at whatever they do
Superior communication skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced role
Exceptional written and oral communication
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
