Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Support Equipment Field Engineer. This position will be located in Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $83,800 USD - $125,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. What You'll Get To Do:
- Inspect, repair, maintain support equipment, including life support equipment, lifting equipment, proof-loading hoisting equipment, welding, fabrication and paint.
- Responsible for inventory control, distribution, recovery, and repair of ICBM ground support equipment.
- Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
- Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
- Reads and understand engineering documentation that applies to laboratory setup and integration.
- Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.
- May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
- Able to implement best practices in demonstrates good hardware configuration management and tool accountability.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with Bachelor's Degree; 3 years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)
- Experience in an integration, production, manufacturing or test environment or similar work
- Experience with common hand tools and test equipment found in an integration, production, manufacturing or test environment.
- Experience reading drawings, blueprints, diagrams and create work instructions/procedures
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers License within 6 months of employment
- Active Top Secret security clearance with adjudication in the last 6 years.
- ICBM Maintenance or aerospace integration, assembly, and test experience.
- Commercial Driver's License valid in California and Utah.
- Experience utilizing MS products; Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Four additional years of ICBM maintenance experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Prior military experience
