Position Responsibilities
Install and support computer operating systems and applications.
Develop troubleshooting procedures and troubleshoot IT systems.
Work with vendors to develop and implement system fixes and enhancements.
Test and deploy (e.g. Windows, Macintosh and UNIX) scripts on workstations and services.
Work with Desktop team members to implement large-scale upgrades and fixes.
Maintain consistency with software configuration.
May assist in training junior level and remote technicians on systems.
Coordinate and facilitate projects including department moves, deployment of new systems and upgrades.
Direct user support with software and hardware issues.
Help coordinate enterprise-wide roll-outs, implementations and projects of a higher-level complexity.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
5+ years of hardware and software support experience.
Programming experience a plus.
Proven ability to quickly learn and support new systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to travel to Uline's domestic and international locations.
