We provide patient support programs for specialty drug therapies, providing physicians with resources to manage their patients, facilitating reimbursement, and enhancing patient compliance. We are hiring a Senior Specialist, Retail Specialty Support.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Specialty Retail Projects, you will be responsible for providing national specialty support for all Associates as they care for specialty patients in their communities. You will be responsible for providing assistance to stores on all aspects of specialty drugs including store escalations, reimbursement, drug access, training, and ad-hoc support. Additionally, you will provide support on project and program management for retail-oriented patient support programs during launch and on an ongoing basis.

What You'll Do:

Specialty Drug Operations Support
Provide day-to-day operations support for pharmacy-facing specialty programs
Reimbursement coordination for stores / new patients dispensing at Shoppers Drug Mart
Specialty drug access and inventory management support across the network
Liaison between SHN and SDM Operations
Patient Support Program Launch and Support
Responsible for supporting the continued operations of internal retail support programs
Store Communications / Relationship Management
Development and maintenance of training programs for stores
Execute Specialty communications to the retail network, including management of the specialty section of the In-Store Web and Intra-Mag
Works cross-functionally with various departments across the organization to develop new processes for servicing specialty patients in the retail network
Be the subject matter expert for all SHN programs

What You'll Need:

Bilingual (French fluency considered a valuable asset)
Delivers results in a high-pressure environment with the ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines
Strong professional presence and presentation skills, including facilitation of meetings where excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills is a must
High degree of flexibility required to adapt to a wide variety of tasks and functions and the ability to work in a fast-based, dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability in leading and contributing to cross-functional teams; excellent skills in leading without authority and managing through influence
Ability to manage difficult situations and resolve conflicts amongst stakeholders with varying opinions
Strong methodological, quantitative and analytical skills
University Degree in Business or Relevant Experience
3-5 years' experience working in community pharmacy setting; Registered Technician considered an asset
Basic knowledge related to pharmacy reimbursement, online and offline adjudication
Intermediate to advance user of Microsoft Office product suite including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Three (3) or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical marketplace - experience in specialty products an asset
Solid understanding of pharmaceutical distribution logistics
Demonstrated understanding of program management an asset
