This 25+ year locally based firm seeks an experienced PE to lead their established district services team as the Senior Project Manager. This will include a broad range of consulting engineering services to municipal utility districts (MUDs) and water control and improvement districts (WCIDs) including feasibility studies, alternative analyses, district creation, permitting, detailed design, and construction phase services. Projects will involve new districts, engineering services to older districts and surface water conversion analyses.

The selected candidate will act as liaison to district clients, preparing and presenting reports, preparing construction plans, and providing construction phase services. Will recruit, train, lead, and evaluate performance of the department's staff; participate in business development activities and oversee adherence to the firm's QAQC process. Must be capable of handling district clients with little oversight while managing in-house teams and helping them grow.

Key Senior Project Manager candidate qualifications:

• Project management experience with a Houston engineering firm providing district services to MUDs, and WCIDs.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

The selected candidate must possess the ability to effectively communicate with both oral and written skills. Active involvement in local professional associations is desired.
