You will be responsible for -

• Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary project teams in the preparation of local, state, and federal permitting processes for offshore wind energy projects, with a particular focus on preparation of permit applications, BOEM Site Assessment and Construction and Operations Plans, Environmental Impact Statements, and supporting technical studies, terrestrial and marine surveys
• Perform project management responsibilities, including management and execution of project deliverables, scope development, cost estimation, staff resource identification, implementation oversight, budget tracking, and completion of administrative requirement
• Manage project teams responsible for supporting the environmental permitting and licensing, engineering, and construction compliance phases of projects in the energy market
• Coordinate and manage stakeholder outreach and engagement, including public meetings, tribal, federal, and state agency consultation and coordination, and public comment-response tracking
• Support the development and implementation of overall strategy and approach for the energy market, including seeking new opportunities and preparing and managing proposals be considered

You will need to demonstrate -

• Knowledge of federal and New York/New Jersey state environmental regulations and permitting, NEPA compliance, and the BOEM process (Article VII is a plus)
• Superior ability in collaborative problem solving with stakeholders, clients, and teammate
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and oral presentation skill
• Understanding of offshore wind energy development and the market
• Team-oriented self-starter with strong capability to motivate others
• Exceptional attention to details, planning, and quality
• Knowledge of federal and state energy siting processes
• Experience managing multidisciplinary complex projects
• Client management and business development experience
• Relevant environmental project management experience
• Knowledge of federal and state energy siting processes
