Extreme Networks is hiring for a Senior Project Manager for Engineering - East Coast Extreme uses Cloud Management, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence to radically simplify and secure the Access Network. Our Cloud-Managed Wireless, Switching, Routing, and Security technologies provide unrivalled flexibility in deployment, management, and licensing. Responsibilities include: Provide Project Management leadership and support for internal engineering teams. Develop project plans, schedules, and resource strategies to drive projects to closure. Facilitate good communication and offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management. Provide regular updates to management to ensure appropriate exposure of issues and challenges. Work with management and Internal teams to define plan, track and communicate and escalate as appropriate. Drive day-to-day project activities to meet overall project objectives. Manage and execute agile development processes throughout multiple projects and phases. Qualifications: Experienced engaging with engineering teams to execute continuous delivery/continuous integration 3-5 years of industry experience and 2+ years project management experience in Engineering environments. Ability to work in multifaceted teams. (Hardware, Platform, Cloud, ) Great leadership skills, enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire team members. Experience tracking and translating engineering discussions into actionable engineering tasks and next steps. Good knowledge of network technology, Wireless/TCP&IP stack/L2 Switching/L3 Routing etc. Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities. Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty. Experienced in setting up project schedules and work breakdown structures. Outstanding in solving/analytical abilities, good autonomy and good teamwork. Good English writing and speaking skills Strong Interpersonal, communication and coordination skills Experience with Agile development process LOCATION: Position is open for the East Coast US and not budgeted for relocation.
