Position Summary

The Senior Production Analyst provides technical and analytical support to petro technical professionals. Under minimal supervision, they will be responsible for loading, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, reporting and presenting data. This role will perform selection, analysis and interpretation of moderately complex data. The Senior Production Analyst will:

Essential Duties

• Develop high level documents and technical reports regarding procedures, solutions and results that supports the surveillance and optimization of field production
• Identify problems and recommend solutions and additional data analysis
• Fully understand project scope
• Make recommendations related to design improvements and technology
• Demonstrate and/or present recommendations and data findings
• Organize, manipulate and present complex mapping data
• Analyze wells statuses/statistics and or completion/production volume levels and presenting findings
• Analyze and interpret complex production, drilling, reserve, completion or reservoir data
• Prepare and submit proposals on well drilling, workovers, completions and lease acquisitions
• Research and respond to invoicing errors, broker billings, partner inquiries and royalty/surface owner problems

Qualifications

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is strongly preferred.
• 7-12 years of related work experience
• Proactive and service-oriented; high concern for accuracy and completeness.
• Experienced user of common Office and database applications required; ability to quickly learn new applications and proprietary Company systems is important.
• Power BI, Aries, production accounting, and Spotfire experience preferred
• Should have prior experience in a supporting technical role.
• Prior petroleum industry experience preferred.
