We are currently seeking a high-energy, self-motivated and dedicated engineer with proven track record to support process design and project execution at Veolia WTS.

The senior process engineer is responsible for developing/reviewing process optimized, cost effective and risk abated process design leveraging Suez's E-Separations product portfolio for industrial or municipal projects. The candidate will provide support to the Global Process Engineering Integrated Flowsheet Technical Director and to the regions as required. The successful candidate possesses strong experience with the operability and availability of ED, EDR, BPED treatment systems and capable of sharing expert technical assistance to our customers for trouble-shooting system problems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Develop/Prepare/Review Process Designs for both proposals and projects, to ensure accuracy, competitiveness and compliance with design standards, specifications, relevant codes and EHS requirements in the region.
• Coordinate and /or provide process design support (incl. Eng. calculations) to project execution team following project award as required:
• Review/Prepare Process Descriptions, mass balance, equipment sizing
• Coordinate the timely preparation of control narrative, engineering drawings (PFDs, P&IDs Hydraulic Profile, Layout etc.)
• During proposal and execution, ensure that Suez' process design meets customer needs regarding quality, quantity, power, consumables, operability, availability and sustainability.
• Support Commercial Eng. / Sales team with sales calls to clients, owners and consultants.
• Participate in technical peer risk review within the design review team for projects, to ensure design optimization / value engineering
• Provide process support for commissioning, performance testing and operator training, as required.
• Provide expert advice / recommendations on various treatability / optimized design options for new projects.
• Review proposals prepared by Pilot Project Manager. Coordinate Pilot test plans and review/approve operating changes. Review and approve pilot reports technical content.
• Assisting E-Separations Product Development team in developing new/improved products/process solutions.
• Assisting Process teams in development of new / improvement existing process engineering guidelines and tools

What You Bring:

• B.S. in Chemical, Process Engineering, or other equivalent technical discipline. Masters and PHD degrees are preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years engineering experience in the water industry out of which minimum of 5-year experience reflects dedicated expertise, with in depth knowledge, understanding in designing operations and Troubleshooting of Electro-Separation systems utilizing Electrodialysis (ED), Bipolar Electrodialysis (BPED), Electrodialysis Reversal (EDR) and Electrodeionization (EDI) technologies.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate process optimization projects between the internal engineering team and the customer.
• Willing to travel internationally and locally up to 15-30%
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Candidate required to submit to background investigation (Motor vehicle record, criminal, education and prior employment), physical evaluation and drug screen
