T&M Associates is seeking a multi-talented Senior Staff Engineer for our Municipal Department in Middletown, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction. This will include plans, specifications, and cost estimates for various capital improvement projects (roadways, drainage, sewer, water, parks, athletic fields, etc.). Must be able to work on multiple design projects concurrently and manage small projects independently.
• Perform field inspections and assessments of infrastructure.
• Review of Planning & Zoning Board site plans/subdivisions and preparation of reports.

Qualifications:

• B.S in Civil Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in Municipal Engineering or related field. EIT certification required, PE license preferred.
• Fluency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.
• Knowledge of roadway design elements, standards, and constructability methods.
• Proficiency in Municipal Land Use Law (MLUL) and Public Contracts Law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment, self-starter, demonstrated organization skills, team player and willingness to learn.
