Job Summary:

The Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Electro Optical (EO)Systems Department has the responsibility to design, develop, and maintain complex engineering test systems (missile flight simulators) that operate real-time and closed loop with the weapon's hardware and software (flight simulators for missiles). We are looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Due to the nature of our business, remote work is not possible.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Requires a BS Degree in either Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering and at least six (6) years relative mechanical design and drawing creation experience.
• Experience with mechanical design
• Experience with CAD solid modeling tools, like CREO
• Experience with creating mechanical drawing packages

Qualifications We Value:

• 3D PDF Experience
• Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance analysis
• Master of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). ABET is the preferred
• Design experience with mechanical and electronic packaging
• Experience with creating complex design drawing packages
• Experience with Configuration Management processes, application, and tools (e.g., Windchill / cPDM)
• Knowledge of Model Based Engineering or Model Based Design
• Experience in mechanical sub-systems packaging, materials, thermal analysis, structural analysis, control systems, electrical hardware design, or large assembly development
• Familiarity with environmental stress screening of hardware (e.g., vibration, shock, thermal, etc.)
