The Senior Product Engineer supports all phases of the product life cycle including development, new product introduction (NPI), product transfer and product delivery by:
Initiating clear production assembly/test instructions to operations personnel. These instructions include formal Work Instructions, Acceptance Test
Procedures (ATP), engineering memos, and Electronic Historical Record (EHR) entries
Defining and scheduling the development of equipment to meet production requirements for operations department. These include assembly fixtures and tools and production flow-line systems.

Required:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering + 12 years relevant technical experience. Masters of Science Degree in Engineering is a plus
Alternately, a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Engineering + 15 years relevant technical experience
Knowledge and proven use of Siemens NX design software and Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management software
Proven experience designing assembly/test tooling and writing assembly/test work instructions
Detailed working knowledge of hydraulic, electric, and mechanical actuation products and their assembly/test methods
Proven experience coordinating and interfacing with customers and/or suppliers on complex projects or issues
Knowledge and proven use of Root Cause / Corrective Action investigation techniques, LEAN, Project Planning, and Product line transfer and Data Acquisition and Analysis
Demonstrated strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
