About the role The Sr Encompass Engineer is responsible for development, configuration, and customization of the company's Loan Origination System (LOS) and to assist with the management of ancillary systems and services that are integrated with Encompass. This position requires in-depth knowledge of the loan origination workflow. The Encompass Engineer works closely with senior and executive management to evaluate business process, data integrity, and compliance issues as they relate to the loan origination systems. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $149,400.00 - $238,600.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Who you are ? Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. ? 5+ Years Ellie Mae Encompass administration experience. ? 5+ years in advanced coding within Encompass. ? Experience with creating applications, codebase assemblies, and plugins using the Encompass SDK along with data, reporting and other Ellie Mae Network services. ? In-depth understanding of the mortgage industry and loan origination life cycle is preferred. ? Experience creating business rules using scripting tools, JavaScript required. ? Experience with Encompass SDK and Developer Connect APIs. ? Ability to work independently on a distributed team. ? Self directed work style and proven prioritization skills. ? Proven documentation, communication and collaboration skills. ? AWS server, Windows PowerShell scripting, Terraform scripting, and GiLabs YAML scripting is preferred.
