We are seeking an Electrical Engineer / Project Manager with 10+ years' experience. This position is well suited for highly motivated individuals seeking a fast-paced and rewarding work experience. In this position, you will actively participate in the full project construction cycle, from predesign through final project closeout.

Requirements

• 10+ years design experience in commercial building electrical systems including:

1. Power distribution including single line diagrams, panel schedules, wire sizing, voltage drop calculations and short circuit calculations.
2. Lighting design including specifications, controls, emergency/egress requirements and circuiting.
3. Fire alarm design with working knowledge of applicable codes and system requirements.

• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code and International Building Codes.
• Experience performing field survey work in support of design drawings and as-built drawing development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Enjoys working in a fast paced, positive team environment.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and meet internal and external client deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of various construction means and methods.
• Strong knowledge of equipment manufacturers and available products.
• Ability to review shop drawings.
• Project / client management experience.
• Ability to perform QA/QC project reviews.
• Ability and willingness to mentor junior electrical designers.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD with ability to design/draft when needed.
