EN ENGINEERING BY THE NUMBERS:
The Senior Corrosion Technician is responsible for physically performing the execution of field projects and basic to intermediate field level corrosion control and system integrity activities. They are expected to perform corrosion engineering tasks as a member of a team on multiple small to medium sized projects. They may lead field crews in performing routine field tasks such as soil resistivity, test station readings, ECDA surveys, dig assessments, or construction oversight. This position receives technical guidance on new design topics that have not been experienced.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Documenting and performing basic to intermediate corrosion control measurements
- Documenting and providing written draft record of field activities, survey, or project performance.
- Assisting in performing technical troubleshooting and assessment
- Performing quality checks on equipment and maintain them in good working order
- Communicating with client as needed for field scheduling and status updates
- Recognizing and responding to abnormal measurements or conditions
- Applying technical standards and procedures consistent with the task performed
- Following system of quality control and checking on all projects assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of work experience in corrosion, petrochemical, or related industries
- NACE CP-1 certification or higher, a plus
- Collaborative approach to problem solving
- Basis computer skills related to the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Capable of working at a desk for long periods of time (2-3 hours);
- Ability to travel 50% of the time;
- Possess the strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds;
