We are seeking a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer for our industry leading engineering client focused on custom heavy load handling systems. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and programming electro-mechanical equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in Controls Engineering and interested in managing unique projects from start to finish!

Primary Responsibilities

• Design complex, heavy-duty electro-mechanical equipment for specialized industrial material handling applications.
• Program PLC and HMI of battery-operated vehicle-based systems.
• Design and debug of low voltage, high power electrical systems.
• Create and maintain electrical and controls schematics, diagrams, and documentation.
• Provide technical support of electrical systems to customers.
• Function as Project Engineer during Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing phases of major custom equipment development from concept through delivery.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a related engineering environment preferred.
• A thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical principles as they relate to the design of industrial equipment and machinery.
• Familiarity with motors, power transmission components, industrial electronics, pneumatics hardware and controls.
