Strativ are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to support our hugely exciting client with their project and pipeline. The first project will be supporting the late stage development, Engineering and Construction of their Large scale BESS project on the West Coast.

This role will include:

• Construction, installation and commissioning management.
• Planning, tracking, coordinating, monitoring, reporting.
• Providing construction knowledge and guidance to late stage development and engineering leading into breaking ground.
• Ensure smooth operations from project kick off, through to project completion and sign off.
• Ensuring timely completion of project(s) within budget and minimising risk factors.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and suppliers as well relating major and sub contractors.
• Provide client representation and best represent the interests of client.
• Provide guidance and consult on other projects at various stages of development.
• Drive quality, safety.
• Attend meetings.
• Provide diligence.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction of utility scale renewable energy projects.
• Held a similar position previously.
• Experience being involved and providing guidance / input during the latter stages of development prior to breaking ground.
• Construction management experience in urban environments.
• Experience and familiarity of utility scale battery projects is preferred.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to be at site with a site based rotation.
