This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Civil Project Manager for our Sacramento or Roseville, CA office. Be involved in projects with our Civil Transportation Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges. WSP is looking to build our Transportation Design Team in the Bay Area. Join our team as a project manager and help shape the future of Bay Area transportation throughout the 21-county megaregion. The ideal candidate will provide project leadership on complex civil engineering projects ensuring contributors know what they are required to do and by when, preparing and overseeing relevant project budgets, monitoring external events, ensuring satisfactory performance, and supervising subcontractors and employees. Your Impact Lead transportation project business development efforts and participate in proposal presentation and business development activities. Attract new clients, ensure customer satisfaction and build strong market relationships. Manage projects and maintain schedule, budget, and profitability of assigned projects, overseeing preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates. Prepare, manage and review project deliverables including planning, design and construction documents, project reports, environmental studies, cost estimates, scopes of work, and proposals, ensuring quality requirements, professional standards, client requirements and corporate objectives are met. Provide coordination with other design disciplines and remote office locations, including: Planning, Environmental, Roadway, Structures, Hydraulics/Drainage, Transit, Aviation and Traffic. Demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature engineering judgment, and successfully managing multiple projects and task assignments, relying upon demonstrated experience in design quality control programs. Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or closely related discipline. 12+ years of relevant post education experience in engineering, civil and infrastructure design. California Professional Engineer license required. Ability to work independently and provides guidance and leadership to mid-level to senior level team or project members, with strict adherence to QA/QC. Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively, persuasively, and tactfully interact with employees at all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Engineering. Strong experience in managing the review and approval of documents and discipline-specific deliverables, certifications, processes, and plans in a multi-project environment is highly desirable.
