What You Will Be Doing
- This position will report directly to the Chief Estimator and will work closely with Regional General Managers. Projects will be heavily focused on trenchless pipe rehab and pipe bursting for municipal clients and will range in cost from $1M-20M+. Tasks will include (but are not limited to):
- Analyzing subcontractor and vendor quotes to confirm scope & pricing
- Preparing conceptual estimates and budgets for projects to include analysis points for internal discussion
- Updating unit, labor, material, and equipment rates in cost databases
- Developing subcontractor relationships for the solicitation of bids
- Helping to guide the bid strategy in the gulf and assisting with preparation of bid packages
3+ years of relevant estimating experience and knowledge of:
- Horizontal Construction
- Hard bids
- Subcontractor solicitations
- Scheduling
- Proposals
- Deadline Management
- HCSS/Heavy Bid
- Microsoft Office Programs
- Trenchless construction and/or pipe bursting experience is a PLUS!
- Bachelors Degree preferred (can be waived with enough relevant experience)
- Salary 100-130k (depends on experience)
