Senior Chemical Engineer
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Chemical Engineer, Senior, are to:
- Participate as a project team member for large complexity capital projects and/or serve as discipline lead for medium complexity projects;
- Responsible for and helps lead project design and close out documentation per the engineering execution process;
- Develop project design requirements and assemble estimate information for respective discipline and help lead project design package development including drawings, vendor data and specifications;
- Provide technical oversight of engineering consultants and contractors;
- Support and helps lead project commissioning and checkout;
- Presentation and communication of project related tasks to peers, project manager, group leadership and senior engineering leadership for overall project coordination;
- Provide ongoing support to plant operations through equipment assessments and other troubleshooting support activities for facilities;
- Directly report to a discipline Engineering Group Lead;
- Work closely with other discipline engineers and project team members;
- Interface with senior externals contacts including equipment vendors, design consultants, EPCM, firms, operations and business leaders.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and seven years of progressive engineering experience or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering and four or more years of progressive engineering experience.
