Senior BMS Controls Engineer (Contract to Hire)

Location: Greenville, SC OR Remote with Travel

Applied Resource Group is actively working to fill a Senior BMS Controls Engineer for one of our well-known, Fortune 500 EPC clients. This Engineer will be responsible for the design, planning, layout of Electrical and HVAC for buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning and general servicing of systems.
• Provide technical direction, guidance and demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of the BMS Control System Design
• Provide progress reports and updates on BMS Control System Team progress
• Coordinate with other disciplines including Electrical and HVAC to develop design.
• Install, commission, repair Controls systems
• Check, test, and diagnose HVAC controls systems
• Execute Building Automation projects
• Perform point to point check out to verify that controls systems have been installed properly
• Complete assigned system commissioning and performs device verification

Experience and Qualifications:

• BS Degree in engineering discipline
• 5+ years of HVAC Controls/BMS/BAS experience
• Familiar with NEC, ISA, and IEEE codes and standards.
• Experience with Emerson Delta V preferred.
• Experience with CAD in 2D Microstation or AutoCAD drawing.
