Working with the aero group, the candidate will develop and implement concepts for full scale wind tunnel testing. From this testing, the body specification will be defined. The candidate will also be responsible for the following items: Duties: Defining wind tunnel testing programs and practices (methods development) Body construction techniques: Documentation Provide guidance to Quality Control & Fabrication Correlation studies across wind tunnels, CFD, and the track Advise race teams & vehicle dynamics group about performance changes Track support as needed Identifying and exploiting areas of potential performance gains Qualifications: The successful candidate will have at minimum a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering along with 6+ years of work experience in wind tunnel testing.
