Summary Provides Security for the Resort residents and reports fires, theft, vandalism and illegal entry by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Patrols, periodically, buildings and grounds of the Resort. Examines doors, windows, buildings and gates to determine that they are secure. Warns violators of rule infractions, such as traffic violations or excessive noise, investigate and notify Cocopah Police Department of persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts. Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked. Permits authorized persons to enter property. Registers at guard shack to record time of inspection trips. Records data such as property damage and unusual occurrences. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be able to walk for longer periods of time. Must be able to communicate properly with Cocopah Police dispatch. Good judgement is required regularly. Must be able to provide exceptional customer service. Qualifications Education and/or Experience High School Diploma/GED is preferred, 2-year work experience in related field. Some experience in security preferred. Current valid Arizona Driver's License The Cocopah Indian Tribe is a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination employer.
