Job Overview
We are looking for NYS-licensed Security Officers for assignment to a location in Washington Heights. A Fire Guard certificate is NOT required . This location requires someone with good incident report writing skills that will be done via tablet.
The ideal candidate will provide strict access control at a program building. Attention to detail is a must as the ability to remain professional and separate oneself from the duties of enforcing rules and policies from feelings brought on by shelter residents.
Shift Available:
1. Mon - Fri, 4pm-12am = 40 hours.
You must be able to work and hold the post beyond your shift when needed
Responsibilities:
Strict Access Control on entry and exit
Monitior banned list via ID verification
Communication with law enforcement
Communication with program staff
Enforce building rules
CCTV Monitoring
Incident Reporting
