If you are looking to start your career at one of Canada's top employers, look no further! We are looking for Security Officers who have excellent communication and in access control for Critical Security Team in Telkwa (15mins away from Smithers)
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Making sure anyone that's not on the approved list gets onsite without verification.
- Surveillance and Patrol of Critical Security Team's sites.
- Provide a physical visual presence while on site.
- Perform access control for Critical Security Team Facilities; Grant or deny access based on established protocol.
Location included: Telkwa - $26 /Hr (15 mins away from Smithers in Northern BC)
500$ Bonus Applies to: Hired and fully trained before May 6th, with Full-time availability, Paladin Security has multiple sites to work after the seasonal contract. This could turn into long term contract as well. (Pass probation is a must, we do performance review after 3 months' probation period and we will give the bonus after the performance review)
YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
Valid BC Security License
Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean driver's abstract.
Ability to work 12 hours shifts if needed (daytime or graveyard)
Ability to lead, plan, organize, delegate and problem solve.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
Ability to function effectively in a fast paced and potentially stressful environment.
Ability to demonstrate professionalism in all situations.
Ability to prioritize based on severity of the issue.
