Job Overview

We are seeking a seasonal, service-oriented Customer Service Representative to add to our team!

The Customer Service Representative will interact with customers by proactively addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. This position is a seasonal opportunity (October to April). Our Customer Service Representatives are committed to service, efficiency, and safety.

This position will support our Pit Stop Fuels location in Gorham, ME.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services
Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services
Forwards customer questions and complaints to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
Serves as a liaison between customers and company
Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience
Experience in the oil and propane industry (preferred but not required)

Skills/Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
Attentiveness and patience
Proficient in the current Microsoft Office suite to include Excel and Word

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer
