Nature's Touch Frozen Foods LLC in Front Royal, VA is now hiring for the position of Sanitation Supervisor.

Hours: 3rd Shift 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM Monday - Friday, overtime required

Job Summary:

The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the sanitation processes and sanitation team members under the standards of Nature's Touch Frozen Foods, LLC. This position is also responsible for assisting sanitation team members to complete sanitation daily duties which consist of 6 - 8 crew members. This role is very hands-on.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The sanitation Supervisor directs and assists the sanitation team in their job duties and roles
• Responsible for completing sanitation documentation of the day-to-day activities
• Responsible for following and leading sanitation team members to be complainant with all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures
• Motivates and assists the team members to complete sanitation duties in a timely manner
• Complete inspection activities for the pre-operational function to ensure all equipment and tools are cleaned and sanitized
• Responsible for maintaining an inventory of chemicals and tools necessary to complete the job
• Responsible for guiding team members in occupational and food safety
• Works closely with Quality Assurance with environmental monitoring program and developing root cause and corrective action plans

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent requires, Associate Degree preferred
• Must have previous sanitation experience
• Must have management experience
• Sanitation Supervisor experience is a plus

Physical Demands:

• Works overnight to wet wash environment in cold temperature production room
• Must be able to see, speak, hear, read, walk, and stand for long periods
• Must be able to pull, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance and lift more than 40lbs

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Able to lead, motivate and encourage team members
• Comfortable taking charge and responsibility for the team
• Good understanding of sanitation practices in the food manufacturing industry
• Good understanding of Good Management Practices (GMP's) and environmental monitoring program
• Able to offer continuous improvement ideas for sanitation processes
