This position for individuals seeking employment in a therapeutic spa setting that allows you share your passion for health and wellness while continuing to focus on career development and client service excellence. As the public face of the company the Sales Associate is responsible for dealing with any and all customer questions about the products and services the company offers. A Sales Associate is expected to be continuously updating their knowledge of the company products, services, and policies. Complaint handling is a critical part of this position. Turning a frustrated customer into a happy customer, while adhering to company policies, requires a combination of empathy and tact. Another key responsibility is maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays.

General qualification requirements are outlined below:
Friendly, customer-driven personality that is always polite and helpful
Retail sales experience of at least (1) year or more
Potential to fulfill part-time or full-time position between 15-30 hours per week
Works well on a team of like-minded individuals
Able to work flexible hours with emphasis surrounding week/ weekend days and nights
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
Proven track record of membership sales
Proficiency in following training manual and preset sales processes
Experience with Microsoft Word and Gmail (gsuite)
High school diploma required - some college preferred
Believes in holistic healing and brings positivity!
As a sales associate with Massage Green Spa you will be directly responsible for:
Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
Achieving established goals.
Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
Increasing in store sales.
Superior product knowledge.
Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
Helping with customer returns, refunds and resolving common complaints
Taking general direction from spa management and ownership
Maintaining a minimum of preset sales average per week through excellent service and program scripting
Helping your manager resolve client service issues timely
Reducing turn away business by offering clients options if their first choice for service is not available
Working on an individual basis (from time to time) when your manager may not be present at the spa location
Complying with all paperwork, organizational and membership standards that the spa will outline to you at time of hire
Helping with outside marketing events and social media marketing
Other duties as assigned
