Job Details

Safety Manager with 7+yrs experience for vertical construction project in Washington DC area. $40mil NAVFAC project on Naval base

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for safety management of the project
Conduct site specific safety orientation
Coordinate site safety meetings
Develop and implement Safety Programs
Reviews history of accidents and claims and prepares reports and recommendations as required
Coordinates safety of the project as a whole schedule, loss history, upcoming activities, etc. and provides stimulus for proactive loss control efforts.
Conduct accident investigations
Provide corrective/preventive action
Administers and Assures the proper use of productive equipment

Preferred Qualifications
Federal Government construction project experience
OSHA 30-hour
EM-385-1 experience
Additional Construction Safety Related Training is a plus
