Job Overview
The Madison Inn is looking for several Housekeepers. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the earnest candidate. This position is 25-30 hours a week. Sunday and Monday availability is mandatory.

Responsibilities
Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices requirements
Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
Customer-oriented and friendly
Prioritization and time management skills
High school degree
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and often exert up to 20 pounds of force to push, pull, carry, lift or otherwise move objects
Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends, and holidays
