Job Overview
Maintain the operations and function of the Howick machine. Assist in development of technical input for prefabrication, working with designers and staff. As an employee owner, act in the company's best interest and in support of the organization's overall goals and objectives.
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Roll Form Operator consist of, but are not limited to, the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:
Operations:
Maintain overall production schedules.
Adjust and calibrate machines ensuring material meets ICC / ASTM standards.
Keep machines properly serviced and in excellent mechanical operation, both under Manufactures standards and KHS&S requirements.
Manage machines consumable inventory.
Communicate with project teams as required on project status.
Maintain KHS&S Standards manual and associated processes.
Other Duties
Update daily all corresponding QC tests, Roll Form Work Orders from the days production run.
Update daily the Master Trace Log with the days production information.
Perform any other related or unrelated, unassigned, unspecified duty that may be needed from time to time.
Education: High school diploma.
Experience: Required 2 years field experience as related to Roll Forming Machines and general manufacturing floor operations. Forklift Operator Certification.
Skills: Ability to read and interpret drawings. Ability to accurately read: tape measure, micrometer, and dial caliper
Physical: Includes siting, standing, reaching, walking; use of hands, arms, legs, and feet. Must be able to see and hear (with mechanical assistance if necessary) sufficient to understand and comprehend individual one-on-one conversations.
Must be able to lift 80 pounds.
Communication: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Ability to communicate effectively and positively with customers, vendors, and employees.
Computer: Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
