Job Overview
Metropolitan Bakery is searching for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with hospitality experience and a sincere interest in food. Our retail associates are many things; cashier, barista, "breadmonger", cheesemonger, and sometimes server. Above all else, our team members represent Metropolitan and the business we've built since 1993.
Ideal candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a calm and friendly demeanor, learn quickly to memorize product information and menus, and responsibly handle cash/credit card transactions. Proper phone etiquette and the ability to communicate effectively is a must, along with the ability to multitask. ServSafe Certification is a plus.
Weekends and (some) holidays are required. Part-time hours are available. Reliability is crucial to our operation! Availability must fit within these shift times:
7:30am-4:30 pm 11am-8pm
