Job Overview

Custom homebuilder is looking for a Project Manager who has extensive experience in managing the construction of high-end custom homes. This candidate will work closely with the owner of the company to ensure the direction of the project is on schedule and within budget.

_ MUST HAVE RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION OR REMODEL EXPERIENCE. _

_(Salary Based off Experience)_

_Responsibilities include: _

Schedule, coordinate, and manage the daily construction activities for residential and remodeling projects

Ensure that projects are built to requirements and specifications established by construction drawings, building codes, and clients

Monitor production schedules, critical paths for projects, and trade contractor schedules to ensure timely project completion

Monitor project quality and cost control

Design and/or implement checklists for inspections, quality control, and standard operating procedures enter daily logs and update scheduling in system weekly

Coordinate and assist in pre-construction efforts

Inspect project site daily

Assume overall responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe project site

Communicate with clients on jobsites; Answer their questions and ensure that construction meets their expectations

Order materials and supplies and schedule deliveries. Verify correct materials are on job/returns as needed

Guide and direct trade contractors, and suppliers. Assist trade contractors with tasks, when necessary

Explain and ensure compliance of safety program to all site personnel

Ensure projects are built to quality standards

Conduct pre-closing walk-throughs with clients and coordinate punch list work

Develop and maintain strong, productive supplier and trade contractor relationships

Communicate company's quality and performance standards to each trade contractor and supplier

Requirements:

4+ years residential project management experience; additional experience in residential construction and remodeling projects is a plus.

Familiarity with construction management software

Must be able to read blueprints to maintain quality control and inspect all aspects of construction including framing, electrical, plumbing, etc.

Excellent customer service skills.

Strong leadership qualities

Deadline and detail-oriented

Excellent problem/conflict resolution skills, ability to handle and diffuse difficult situations and client concerns in a positive manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
