Summary Description: Reporting to the Store Manager, this position is primarily responsible for the management of the Repair Department, its inventory, staff, and operational functions to achieve maximum profitability while continuing to provide the best-in-class guest service.
Job Responsibilities:
Generate sales by providing the best equipment tuning/repair in the area
Demonstrate and maintain a high standard of guest service
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of products and industry trends
Provide resources so that employees are properly trained in the repair, product knowledge, guest service, and operation of a safe working environment
Assist in the communication of company values and goals to the employees
Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques
Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards
Demonstrate the desire to succeed and grow within the company
Supervise and perform tuning and repair of ski and snowboard equipment
Be energetic, motivated, and possess the ability to multi-task
Other duties may be assigned
Education and Experience:
Strong ski/snowboard background
Knowledge of ski and snowboarding tuning techniques
Knowledge of alpine and snowboard binding installations
Be able to handle machinery and properly use tuning instruments
Prior experience with tuning/repair/ mounting of ski equipment
Prior supervisory and leadership experience
High school diploma or equivalent
English fluency, written and verbal
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift 25 pounds
