About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to support Wholesale and Retail Lockbox Remittance Processing Services. This includes providing expedited collection and processing of many types of B2B payments for our customers and offering electronic documentation of payments and remittance documents.
Essential Functions
Perform work of Remittance Processors I, II & III as needed
Direct work of team to achieve daily/monthly goals
Coordinate workflow of team to ensure end of day processing is closed accurately and timely
Research in order to resolve customer issues timely
Act as primary liaison and point of escalation between internal clients, Systems Support, Information Technology and management
Create and update procedure documents to ensure they are kept up to date and accurate
Support and mentor the efforts of the team
Review transactions and related documents and verify work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required
Advanced knowledge of systems used within department
Ability to ask questions, identify opportunities for improvement, offer solutions to more complex issues, then retain information and apply details and logic to future situations
Ability to work collaboratively with peers to identify and resolve issues and accomplish goals
Strong decision-making skills
Interpret and follow directions across multiple accounts
Multi-task across functions as needed
Manual Dexterity and eye-hand coordination
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours and repetitive hand movement
10 Key by Touch (preferred)
Effectively communicate individual processing challenges to immediate lead/supervisor
Basic ability to methodically breakdown a process or issue by asking critical, thoughtful questions, and/or researching data and documentation, to develop an effective solution to solve a business need or issue
Ability to make decisions independently using logic and judgement
Advanced analytical skills required to trouble shoot and escalate system issues
Ability to process high volumes and multitask
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Motivated and organized self- starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Advanced ability to navigate computer systems effectively
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook
Education & Experience
Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
4+ years related experience
Experience coaching and mentoring team members preferred
