As an integral part of our Reliability team in Linthicum, MD, you will define and implement reliability engineering programs to achieve Customer (both internal and external) and program reliability objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Work with design and production personnel to ensure program reliability requirements are satisfied
  • Develop reliability plans to define reliability activities, resources, and methods
  • Allocate and decompose reliability requirements to sub-assemblies
  • Develop system reliability models including reliability block diagrams and reliability predictions
  • Complete Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to identify product failure modes and support failure mode probability/severity mitigations and/or corrections
  • Plan and effectively manage Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
  • Support Failure Review Boards (FRBs)
  • Support failure investigations to determine root cause and implement corrective actions
  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned
  • Perform moderately complex professional tasks
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, a Master's degree with 0 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related technical fields.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain active secret DoD clearance
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Jira, and Confluence
  • Experience writing final-version deliverable technical documents and reports
  • Ability to travel occasionally CONUS and OCONUS (10% or less)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degrees in engineering, science, software, or business administration
  • Active DoD Secret, Top Secret Clearance with SCI
  • Knowledge of statistical life distributions

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $71,500 USD - $107,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
