The Job

Primarily responsible for providing leadership, promoting member engagement, and driving revenue through existing builder, vendor, and manufacturer members

Things to look forward to

National Contracts

• Work with builders, manufacturer reps, and local suppliers to create channel alignment and inner-network spend

• Set regular meetings with builder members to review current product selections actively work to convert open opportunities to CBUSA National Contracts

• Plan and conduct GM Meetings on a regular basis schedule National Contract Partners to attend and present on the value props of their products and services

• Run or oversee the cross-over analysis process and present the results to the builder member must be proficient with MS Excel

Local Purchases

• Regularly review, identify and fill gaps within the local preferred vendor network

• Conduct meaningful membership meetings in each market throughout assigned region must be comfortable and confident with public speaking

• Implement and oversee Group Purchases on common commodities

• Motivate and encourage network members to transact with one another through competitive pricing, increased service levels, marketshare growth and rebate potential

• Oversee the compliance of specific vendor purchasing agreements and resolve issues as required

• Provide ongoing customer support for new and existing builder and vendor members

Member Engagement

• Approach each market uniquely and focus on driving high levels of member participation

• Encourage membership involvement through individual meetings, GM Meetings & social events

• Share detailed, professionally written communication with the membership on a regular basis

• Be available and responsive

Reporting

• Oversee the execution of quarterly reporting for the builders/vendors in the region

• Serve as management contact for builder/vendor members having reporting questions

The preferred candidate

• B.S., BA in Business or related field; Masters preferred

• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, analytical mindset, consulatative selling approach

• Experience in residential homebuilding, building material sales, and/or related fields

• Strong customer service tendencies

• Competent in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and efficient in email and internet applications

• Demonstrated problem solving and people skills

• Strong public speaking skills and comfortable presenting to medium size groups

• High accuracy in work, attention to detail
