The primary responsibility of this position is conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may participate in one or more of the following duties as directed by supervision or management.
Conduct complete first piece inspections to assure process is correct before production run begins.
Perform inspections on incoming raw materials, mechanical parts and assemblies using and maintain various inspection fixtures, gages, measuring devices and equipment to ensure that accurate measurements are completed.
Develop and maintain control charts for monitoring / improving performance.
Assist in product reviews and analysis to determine cause and/or disposition.
Provide audit support in designated areas.
Assist in problem solving activities for both product and manufacturing processes.
Assist in process validations, in-process inspections, and monitoring, analyzing the quality of manufacturing processes and products.
Assist in providing support to design, manufacturing, and quality engineering functions for data collection, analysis, product review, and process capabilities.
Perform containment activities preventing potential or additional quality defects.
Provide formal documented FAI reports suitable for customer or internal use as required.
Determine and use appropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements.
Effectively communicate with appropriate areas as needed (supply, manufacturing, engineering, quality, customer service, production planning, logistics, etc.).
Assist in developing and maintaining control charts for monitoring / improving performance.
Perform product reviews and analysis to determine cause and/or disposition.
Provide audit support in designated areas.
Lead and/or assist in the calibration of inspection, test, and measurement equipment.
Participate in lean activities as required.
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a High School diploma
Required 3+ years quality assurance experience
Preferred a diploma or associates degree in Quality Assurance or related manufacturing field and 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to use standard inspection equipment and basic hand tools, such as: calipers, micrometers, steel rules, pin gages, go-no-go gages, CMM and Vision equipment
Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings, good working knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), specifications, sampling techniques, and safety information.
Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with ISO 13485, AS 9100, FDA Quality System Regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Ability to demonstrate a record of excellent performance in meeting high standards of quality, quantity and dependability (attendance and punctuality).
Demonstrate initiative and ability to perform as part of a team.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be detail oriented to keep accurate records and files.

Monday -Thursday 3:15PM-1:45AM, + overtime as needed
Base pay + 10% shift pay
Earn a sign-on bonus totaling $2,000.00. You will receive two payouts: $1,000.00 will be paid to you after completing 90 calendar days of employment, and the remaining $1000.00 after completing 180 calendar days of employment. Current employees are not eligible. This sign-on bonus will not be paid to any candidates hired through a third-party staffing firm.
